Our factory

One factory, multiple furniture categories.

We make what we supply. Our own facility produces commercial, hospitality, residential and custom furniture — direct-from-maker pricing, documented quality control and reliable lead times for Australian projects.

Manufacturing overview

In-house manufacturing, end-to-end control.

SYL manufactures furniture for commercial, hospitality and residential projects in our own facility, giving clients a direct-from-maker advantage: better pricing, tighter quality control and shorter, more reliable lead times. We control the process end-to-end — from raw materials and joinery through upholstery, finishing and final quality inspection.

One facility produces multiple furniture categories — office and commercial ranges, hotel and restaurant FF&E, beds, sofas, cabinetry and bespoke joinery — so we can support complete furniture packages and build to your drawings rather than a fixed catalogue, from a single bespoke piece to multi-room hotel and multi-apartment rollouts.

Answers

Factory FAQs.

Can you manufacture to our drawings and finishes schedule?

Yes. Custom manufacturing to architect and designer drawings is core to what we do — we build to your dimensions, materials and finishes rather than a fixed catalogue.

What are your typical manufacturing lead times?

Stocked ranges typically ship in 3–4 weeks; custom and large-volume orders run 5–8 weeks and are scheduled to your install programme. Sea-freight transit is additional and confirmed per destination.

Do you export to Australia?

Yes. We regularly manufacture and export to clients across Australia, with container-optimised packing, export documentation and local delivery and installation coordinated by SYL.

Can we visit or audit the factory?

We welcome client and specifier visits and can arrange virtual factory walk-throughs, sample approvals and pre-shipment inspections for larger projects.

What is your minimum order?

We support everything from a single fit-out to national multi-site rollouts. Minimums vary by range and are set out clearly in your quote.

How do you control quality across large orders?

Every order passes a documented 12-point quality-control process, with in-process checks and a final pre-packing inspection against the approved sample.
